Description
FMT Logistics Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Team Lead to oversee the maintenance and repair of our fleet of heavy trucks. The ideal candidate will lead the maintenance team to ensure that all vehicles operate at optimal performance, adhere to safety standards, and minimize downtime. This role is critical in supporting our commitment to delivering reliable and efficient transport solutions across Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership:
Supervise and manage a team of maintenance technicians and support staff.
Assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and ensure quality standards are met.
Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills.
2. Fleet Maintenance:
Plan, schedule, and execute preventative maintenance for the fleet.
Oversee repairs and ensure that all vehicles comply with safety and regulatory standards.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in heavy trucks.
3. Operational Management:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
Coordinate with suppliers to procure high-quality parts and materials.
Work with the operations team to prioritize vehicle maintenance schedules without disrupting services.
4. Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with industry regulations and safety standards.
Conduct regular inspections of tools, equipment, and workspaces to maintain a safe working environment.
Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs).
5. Performance Optimization:
Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
Develop strategies to reduce downtime and improve vehicle efficiency.
Support the company’s vision for long-term reliability and growth.
